Terms of Service
These terms govern use of jun-hermes (“the app”), a self-hosted integration that lets a personal AI assistant act on the Google Account of the person who installs it. By authorizing the app, you agree to these terms.
1. What the app is
The app is software you run on your own device. It is not a hosted service: there is no account to create with us and no data stored on servers we operate. It connects to Google APIs on your behalf after you grant OAuth consent.
2. Your responsibilities
- Use the app only with Google Accounts you are authorized to access.
- Review actions before they take effect where the app asks you to: messages are sent only after you approve their text.
- Keep your device and stored credentials secure, and revoke access if your device is lost or compromised.
- Comply with Google's terms, including the Google APIs Terms of Service, and with applicable law.
3. Acceptable use
You may not use the app to access accounts you do not own or administer, to send spam or unlawful content, to circumvent Google's usage limits, or to interfere with the operation of Google's services.
4. No warranty
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation. Model-generated output can be wrong; you are responsible for checking anything the assistant produces before relying on it, particularly before sending a message or changing a calendar event.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or actions taken through your Google Account as a result of using the app.
6. Privacy
Data handling is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
7. Changes and termination
These terms may be updated; the current version is always published on this page. You may stop using the app at any time by revoking its access in your Google Account permissions and removing the local installation.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
